AND SUDDENLY IT´S EVENING

personal project - part of the Month of photography Off, Berlin 2016

<<Everyone stands alone

at the heart of the world,

pierced by a ray of sunlight,

and suddenly it’s evening.>>

S. Quasimodo

This exhibition is composed of photographs taken during many trips in different cities, the aim being to focus on reality, the meeting moment of a singular gesture, an expression or the extremity of an environment, in a fraction of a second.

These casual encounters with strangers and landscapes while traveling around in unknown places are the protagonists of these short stories that are then intertwined.

The focus of this exhibition is to capture an urban setting, where the loneliness of city dwelling creates a sensation of constant melancholy, even in the chaotic context of an urban metropolis.
